Healing Hearts was founded by a young girl who arrived in Canada at the age of 4. She arrived from far corners of the globe and settled in Ontario. In 2019, she took the first steps to forever changing the future for animals and children. While the creation of Healing Hearts grew out of a desire to simply care for hurt and abandoned animals, the vision was ultimately motivated by a desire to inspire a future of kindness, compassion, integrity, and a connection, and sharing the magic of the farm life experience with people. 

The vision for Healing Hearts was conceived by a little girl who once lived on a farm and loved farm animals and the farm life. She was torn away from her family farm when tension started erupting in her homeland. In light of this, her family made a decision to move to Canada for a better and more peaceful life. They settled in Ontario where she began a whole new life, vastly different than the farm life. After embarking on a successful career upon graduating from university, she set off on a mission to help build a beautiful environment she left behind that was so close to her heart. She ambitiously set out to build the farm life experience she loved and held close to her heart for everyone to experience – she wanted to share the magic of the farm life experiences with children and families. Her desire was to make the luxurious farm life experiences accessible to families and children. Most importantly, her desire was to share the healing potentials and power of the farm life with people. And so her journey began where she set out on an ambitious mission to build an environment that would help people and animals heal. 

Over the years, on top of working long full-time hours for a demanding career, she dedicated her time into building a vision that was close to heart and inspired by her love for animals and the farm life. She was driven to build an environment that would unite, inspire, and nurture people for generations to come. Her vision was to build a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to rescuing farm animals, inspiring children, and sharing the magic of the farm life experience with people from all walks of life. A small magical vision that was born by a little girl who was born on a family farm grew into a magical journey that would forever change the lives of animals, children, and people for generations to come. 

Today, Healing Hearts draws together a volunteer team from all corners of the world who share values of rescuing animals, inspiring compassion, promoting friendship, and helping build a bright future for all. United in the belief that all life has intrinsic value, the volunteers worked to put aside personal ambition and personal life goals to stay true to the goal of saving animals and building a brighter future for generations to come. The result was something far greater than they had hoped for — a better life for themselves and those with whom they shared their values.
